The stress test proved that our material is Eight times stronger than that of most building codes. The 220 lb. per Square foot Pressure on a 12’’ wide wall will sustain a 300 MPH wind. The heat energy test performed by The University of New Mexico and Texas A&M consisted of supplying 114 degrees Fahrenheit heat to the exterior of the lava block wall for 130 hours. The heat did not penetrate thru the 12’’ wide wall. The porosity of lava aggregate is the insulation factor resisting heat transfer. The uniqueness of the material also affects cooling in the same fashion. This factor greatly reduces your energy bill.
